Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Services:
SunWise Solar Cleaning provides professional cleaning of solar panel systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Services include surface cleaning using industry-approved tools and products, soft brushing, purified water rinsing, removal of debris or bird droppings, and inspection of panel visibility. We do not perform electrical testing or internal diagnostics unless specifically agreed in writing.
2. Booking & Scheduling:
Bookings are confirmed in writing (SMS/email) or verbally. Changes to booking times may be made due to extreme weather, unsafe site access, or other factors. Clients will be notified in advance where possible. Rescheduled jobs will be prioritized and rebooked at the earliest available time.
3. Access to Site:
Clients must ensure unobstructed access to solar panels and surrounding areas. This includes leaving gates unlocked, securing pets, and notifying us of any hazards such as fragile tiles, steep pitches, or loose materials. Delays caused by access issues may incur a fee or rebooking.
4. Risk & Fragile Surfaces:
We take care on all surfaces; however, clients must notify us of any fragile roof areas, cracked tiles, brittle flashings, or previous damage. We do not accept liability for damage to surfaces that were pre-existing or unadvised at the time of service.
5. Pricing & Payment Terms:
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Invoices must be paid within 7 days from issue unless agreed. Payment methods include bank transfer, card, or approved cash payments. Late payments may incur a $25 admin fee per reminder.
6. Cancellation & No Access Fees:
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 25% call-out fee. If our team arrives and cannot access the site or perform the service due to client fault (e.g., locked gate, unsafe roof), a fee of $60 may be charged to cover travel and lost time.
7. Safety and WHS Compliance:
All work is carried out in accordance with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), industry WHS regulations, and PPE protocols. Our team is trained in harness use, roof safety, and fall prevention. Unsafe conditions may cause job cancellation or delay at our discretion.
8. Weather Conditions:
Jobs may be rescheduled due to rain, extreme heat, or wind which may affect safety or cleaning quality. We will notify clients of any reschedules as early as possible.
9. System Performance Disclaimer:
Cleaning improves system efficiency, but we do not guarantee output levels as many factors (orientation, shading, age, inverter health) affect system performance. A cleaning service is not a repair or system performance guarantee.
10. Use of Photos:
Before/after photos may be taken for client records and quality assurance. With permission, we may use images (non-identifying) for marketing. If the client objects to this, they must inform us in writing.
11. Liability & Insurance:
SunWise holds current Public Liability Insurance. We are not responsible for damage resulting from poorly installed panels, cracked tiles, or roof designs that are not structurally sound. Clients agree to indemnify us for any claims resulting from concealed damage or hazards not disclosed prior to work commencing.
12. Warranty & Rework:
If you are not satisfied with the cleaning outcome, you must contact us within 48 hours. We will inspect and, if warranted, re-clean affected areas at no charge. After this period, all claims are considered void.
13. Governing Law:
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the relevant jurisdiction where the service was performed.
14. Acceptance:
By booking and allowing SunWise Solar Cleaning to access your property, you acknowledge and accept these terms of service in full. No verbal modification of these terms is binding unless confirmed in writing.
